The Body Love Diploma Course begins by showing you how to love the body you already have, by helping you to understand your feelings towards your body and your relationship with it. To this end you will be guided through self-reflective questions before being shown how to set measurable goals that will lead to you loving your body. The module wraps up with a basic body acceptance exercise, to get you started on your journey.
The 2nd module of the course discusses the difference between dieting and eating healthy. It explains the connotations we have with each and how we can go about changing our perceptions of food, eating, and the ways we eat, It examines the types of foods we eat and how we go about the act of eating itself.
Losing weight is not just about what we physically do or don't do but about our minds and the language we use when talking about our bodies. Module 3 talks about the relationship between our mind and eating, as well as explaining how subconscious drivers and secondary gain can be the reason we sabotage our own efforts to lose weight.
The 4th module of the Body Love Course discusses how we can get back in sync with our bodies, understanding when we are hungry and when we are sated, and how to get back to treating food as fuel for our body, rather than as a reward or as a way of dealing with emotions. The practice of mindful eating is also introduced here.
Module 5 explains the connection we make between our emotions and food, before guiding students through how to understand and feel emotions, using a number of techniques, rather than quell them with food. The module concludes by explaining how food can trigger addictive behaviours in the same way as drugs.
To fuel the body effectively, you need to understand what you're putting in it. Module 6 of the Body Love Diploma Course discusses nutrition and healthy eating habits that are easy to understand and follow, along with providing quick tips that can make a massive difference to your health.
To fully instil new behaviours that will continue to be a part of your life, you first need to take some time to remove the old beliefs that are holding you back. The 7th module offers practical advice and exercises that will bring negative behaviours and habits to the forefront of your mind and then help you to work to remove them and instil new, positive behaviours.
A key part of this course is learning how to accept your body as it is now. Module 8 helps with this, shielding you from negativity, whilst encouraging you to build and retain the motivation needed to move forward in living a healthier lifestyle. Along with tips and advice, the module provides a number of read-aloud self-hypnosis scripts, each of which aid with relaxation and help with specific issues that you may face.
The 9th module of the Body Love Diploma Course teaches how to employ the powerful technique of Future Pacing, to help change your self-image. The module first explains what Future Pacing is and how it is beneficial, before taking students through an in-depth session.
Module 10 gets us back in touch with our bodies. Here you will learn how to recognise your body, both to appreciate it and to understand the signals for when you are actually hungry and sated, rather than just when you think you are or aren't. The module also provides a practical technique that will help you to subvert unhealthy eating habits.
Module 11 begins by delving deeper into the power of self-hypnosis and how this is a useful and powerful tool in body appreciation and leading a healthier lifestyle. The module then talks about how NLP can be used to better understand yourself and those around you, and affect change in your life by employing the techniques discussed.
The course concludes with 101 affirmations, should you ever be short of inspiration on your Body Love journey.
The Body Love Diploma Course is suitable for anyone who looks at their body and doesn't like what they see. The course is designed, not just to aid you in losing weight, but to help you to appreciate the amazing gift you have been given, your body. Through the course you will learn how to change your way of thinking and guide you towards a healthier mind, which will in turn help you towards being happy with the body that you have and gaining the healthier body you want.
The Body Love Diploma Course will take you up to 150 hours to complete working from home. There is no time limit for completing this course, it can be studied in your own time at your own pace. The course comes with a course assessment in the form of quizzes, written questions and short essays, once you have completed your course assessment please email or post it back to us for marking, you will then receive your feedback and certificates.
